I've had my fitbit for 3 days. It's been working just fine and now the screens black and it won't turn on. I've plugged it in to charge, pressed and held the side button and the only thing it's done is show the logo, a green light comes on in the back and it goes black again. Help!

I’m experiencing the same issue 2 months in on mine. Worked until I woke up this morning. Tried sync and it couldn’t find. Looked at it and black screen, as you did, plugged in charge (88% according to last nights sync) and nada happening.

Hi @Lily0903 @Hondo Welcome to the community forums.
Thank you for sharing the inquiry regarding your Charge 6.
@Lily0903 I've been informed that you already contacted the Customer Support team for further assistance with this; in this case, they will let you know how to proceed. Please let them know of the steps that you already tried. Please, keep an eye on your inbox.
@Hondo If this is related to the battery, please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
If the device is charging, but the screen is completely black, make sure that you've also completed the restart procedure described here: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Same experience with my Charge 6. Got it on Tuesday, Jan 2. Froze/black-screened overnight twice since then. Both times, had plenty of battery. Only fix was to connect to the charger and press the USB button 3 times to reboot it -- which would be somewhat tolerable if I wasn't subscribed to Premium for sleep tracking. Tough to track your sleep metrics when the watch stops working in the middle of the night.
Opened a case with support, followed up the second time it occurred, and they're honoring the warranty. So, at least there's that.
Any chance of info on whether it's a software or hardware problem, @ManuFitbit ?

@ManuFitbit @I did what the customer service rep said which was to clean it and let it sit on the charger for 30 mins. And I also tried what @Hondo stated about pushing the button on the charger. Nothing has changed and my fitbit still has a black screen. I felt it vibrat a few times and the green sensor light comes on, on the back. The watch is synced with my app also but the screen will not turn on. It stays black.
