Charge 6 won't update or sync

My Charge 6 watch was not tracking my sleep. Then I noticed that it wasn't syncing with my Android phone app. Also, can not get the update. Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my phone., Afraid that I have now lost years of stored data.

I'm sorry tohear that your Charge 6 is not syncing with your app.  I appreciate all the steps you have been trying. 

Please verify that the necessary requirements for synchronization are met:

  1. Your phone has the latest version of the Fitbit application installed.
  2. Your phone has a data connection or Wi-Fi connection.
  3. Your phone software is up to date.
  4. The Bluetooth of your phone is activated.
  5. Your phone is not receiving other Bluetooth signals. (speakers, headphones)
  6. If you use more than one device to synchronize, make sure that only the one you want to synchronize is nearby.
  7. The battery charge of your Fitbit device is not too low.
  8. Power saving mode is disabled on your device. This mode usually causes the device to turn off Bluetooth.
  9. The Fitbit application is authorized to run in the background on your phone.
