Connecting the Charge 6 to the charging cable?

What is the secret to charging the Charge 6? I have had this Charge 6 for about 2 weeks, but every time I go to charge it, I have a problem. I plug it in, it says it's charging, I walk away and then when I come back, I find it hasn't been charging while I've been gone. My Charge right now has been plugged in for 2 hours, but nothing. I keep going over and replugging it in, but it doesn't help. What should I be looking for?

@betpchem that happened to me several times. The charger doesn't seem to stick to the Charge 6 strong enough and slight movement will disconnect it. Really annoying. I usually recharge my Charge 6 when the battery is very low (10% or less) and it's a bummer to take the tracker from the charger and find out it hasn't charged at all.

One month later, still having the same issue. The cord will not connect to the charge 6. For one brief moment, it might be charging. But then I put it down and it stops charging. It's so annoying!!!!! I might sell this one and go back to one of the old ones. This is awful.

@betpchem I got thirdparty cables from Amazon which seem to stick better (probably use stronger magnets). Still, need to be careful positioning Charge 6 but less likely the cable is going to disconnect. Cables offered by Fitbit have too weak magnets.

My cable seems to work intermittently. If I wriggle the wall plug end, without moving the charge 6, it starts working. I think I need a new cable. It is a pity because it stays on my desk and does not move much.

Thank you @Triletics I found a replacement on AliExpress. I hadn't thought of third party cables.

Why should we be buying another cable when Fitbit should be providing the proper cable?
