Critical battery message on Charge 6

This has happened on my Fitbit Charge 6 even when fully charged. The battery drains extremely fast, and yesterday “critical battery error” appeared in red on the screen.  No reboot or reset has brought this thing back to life. VERY disappointed and will choose another brand next time.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, it is always nice to see someone new posting, @GothicBanshee.

Thanks for informing me about this situation in regards to the battery with your Charge 6.

I have checked in the system and it appears as if the battery is working normally, by any chance, do you have a photo you can send me showing the message that appeared to you, please? Also, I recommend you to check some tips to extend your battery's life.

The same thing just happened to my charge 5. It sounds like this may be a problem going around. I hope it's temporary and that it gets fixed soon.

Same issue. Charge 6 Critical Battery message showing, then sudden death, when over 60% battery life remaining. Seems to have happened since the last update? What's going on Fitbit Support and what do you plan to do about it?

I a facing a similar issue. My charge 6 would not connect to the charger and its charge drops from 15% to critically low 2%. It completely died last night and I have not been able to switch it on, have tried the steps mentioned on the support page and nothing works. The watch is barely 7 months old and this is very frustrating for someone who tracks steps data on a daily basis.

This isn't an issue about extending battery life. This is a software fault.  Battery going from 60% to 0% in minutes. Critical battery messages daily even when battery is showing 100%. Come on, get this sorted!
