1. How to completely disable that arrows up animated "Well done!" notification?
An annoying and useless thing, specifically in case you need to process the really important notifications from mobile on the go.
2. How to disable notifications about an automatically detected exercise e.g. a "Walk"? (all is set to 'Ignored' already, see below)
Well, captain obvious, I know what I am doing, no need to buzz me about that and display nothing but a big "Play" button with a timer, buddy, please just monitor my state and gather stats to take a look later.
3. Device is on 20% battery, I'm carrying bags with hands full, I'm turning my wrist to see the time and wow a "Low battery" notification with no way to dismiss it except pressing that **ahem** big green "Got it" button. Really? Who the hell has designed that? That's a wearable device, I know its battery level to some extent. Want to focus attention - just animate the battery icon on the main screen or anything like that.
What was performed before posting. No dice:
- "AZM notifications" toggle is disabled in tracker settings;
- In phone app: Account > Fitbit settings > Activity & Wellness > Exercise > the Auto Recognized Exercises are all set to "Ignored";
- In phone app: Account > Fitbit settings > Notifications > everything's disabled;
- In phone app: Today tab > Edit > Focus is customized to "Sleep" only with the hope there is nothing to get notifications about;
- All the apps are uninstalled from tracker, except "Settings";
Fitbit sends this useless link: https://support.google.com/fitbit/answer/14226290 (come on)
There are 4 contact pads on the back, 2 on the sides are used for charging. Are other 2 for an interface (UART/USB/etc)? If yes - I can connect to that directly, just tell me how to configure that thing to operate in the way I need it to be.
This is my first experience with a health tracker overall, but I haven't expected such UX and an inconsistent behavior from a Google device, this first week with Fitbit 6 makes me willing to trow that stuff away and possibly try an alternative from Apple/Garmin/etc. Switching to old solar-powered Casio watches meanwhile.

I have had mine 3 weeks. The pointless notifications like arrow and things are like spam. I had a huawei smart band for 4 years before. It only gave you a sitting to long notification and a walked 7 miles ish one. The fitbit gives many low value ones it also does not even bother to light the screen for them as its knows they are just a lot of rubbish. If its not important enough to light the screen it should not send. The fitbit is good for sleep tracking. I found the huawei better for running as it said every mile how far you had gone in what time and heart rate also spoke it through my phone. huawei band 9 is also a 100 cheaper at 40. It never gave pointless rubbish when running well apart from the 7 mile thing but that was once in a 15 mile run. Fitbit gives constant rubbish. I did not buy mine for running. The higher price sold it that work youtube but then they want 10 a month for that. The new huawei fit watch can supposedly work youtube for free and the cost the same price ( but lacks some of fitbit health features to be fair and may not be the best for many fitbit users) and its fitbit is a google device. I am still undecided if the charge 6 is bad. I am still finding out about features. I would suspect its over priced but even then not totally sure. Fitbit sales are collapsing year on year for 8 years but that may just be more options. Also the google reviews on youtube that say the charge is great with no solid reasons now say the watch fit is great . The charge 6 had been a bit glitcy still no temperature after 3 weeks and the GPS as is widely known does not work properly but for me its the youtube control that did not say needs to pay for that seems the worst thing.
