Hi. I didn't upgrade from my old Charge 2 to Charge 5 because the latter doesn't display the steps per hour and I need to know how close I am to the hourly 250 count before I reach the ten minutes to the hour warning. Does the Charge 6 display the hourly running total like my Charge 2 does please? Many thanks anyone who has the Charge 6.

I gifted myself with an early Christmas present over Black Friday, a new Charge 6. After setting up my new device and installing the most recent update, I chose the "Slashed" clock face because it showed more of the stats on the home screen. If you scroll up twice from the home screen with that clock face, it shows the number of steps that you've taken in any given hour similar to what it had shown on previous versions. I don't know if that's the case with all the clock faces after the update or with just this particular one, but the information you're looking for is available. I hope this helps with your decision on whether or not to upgrade. Happy Holidays!

@HemsbyHound Welcome to the forums. Thanks for your post about the information displayed on the Fitbit Charge 6.
I was reading the product manual and it seems the device only shows you how many hours you have achieved the 250 steps, but not the current step count for that hour.
"Swipe up from the clock face to see your daily stats. Hourly activity: The number of hours today you met your hourly activity goal"
However, you will still receive a reminder 10 minutes prior the hour ends, so that you can get that hour as active. Make sure the reminders are enabled, that way you will be able to know if you still need to walk more that hour. I have not worn the Fitbit Charge 6 yet, but on all Fitbit devices, when you receive the reminder to move, the steps you still have to take are shown on screen. That is the only way to see the running total of steps for the current hour.

Hi RodrigoM,
Thanks for replying. That's a shame the hourly cumulative steps don't show until 10mins to the hour - my Charge 2 makes it available throughout the hour, but I know it wasn't on the Charge 5, hence not buying it. I think some third-party providers provided faces for the Versa 4 that gave the info throughout the hour (e.g. “Move It! Clock” by Driftwood Computer Systems) so if anyone knows if there is similar for the Charge 6, it would be good to know please, that way I know it is worth replacing my tired Charge 2 with a Charge 6. Thanks.

@HemsbyHound Thanks for your reply and explanation. You are correct, that was directly shown on the Charge 2 when you cycle through the stats.
@Great-Day Welcome to the forums. Thank you very much for your input. This is great! I am glad to read there is a clock face that provides this information. This will surely help other users out. Thanks again!

Hello @4fbcomm and welcome to the Community. Here is a link to the Clock Faces and Apps chapter of the Charge 6 manual. It has the information you need (plus access to the rest of the manual).

You can also go to face for current day that lists total steps so far, miles, etc. and watch that total count as you walk (note: it doesn't move with each step, but catches up in seconds)

Hi, it depends on the clock face you choose. If you choose "Continuum" or as the other replier says "slashed" then it will be included in your scroll up and down main face. That one was important to me too. Thank you to "Great-day" replier for pointing it out as I just purchased a charge 6 and at first thought it wasn't available as a different clock face was on the watch. I simply changed to "Continuum" which I had on my charge 5, and I'm good to go again. 😀
