Exercise days not showing up on app

Yesterday my exercise days showed up for the last few days, today after a workout my fitbit charge 6 showed it but the app showed nothing for today not the last few days after I synced it, other data however was current.

Hi @LaurenceJ. Welcome to the community forums.

Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding this difficulty that you are experiencing with Charge 6.

Please, go to your phone settings Fitbit app > Clear the cache & storage.

In addition:  

  • Log out from the Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your phone.
  • Open the Fitbit app and log back into your account.
  • Check if the issue is still happening.

Thank you for your helpful input, it works, issue resolved.  Question, I thought in setting location permission was set for allow when using the app, I had to change it to all the time, will this reduce my battery time as I get 7-8 days on a full charge B4 I have to recharge.  I previously used charge 5 for years and I thought the location was set for use when I use the app.  Again thank you.
