Find phone does not work anymore on Charge 6

ANSWERED

Phone is paired, Bluetooth enabled. Charge 6 located the phone once but will not work again. Reset charge 6, restarted phone,  no difference.

Thanks for letting me know about this situation in regards to the find my phone app in your Charge 6.

You need to meet certain requirements in order for the app to properly find it, there are the requirements:

- Your Fitbit device must be connected (“paired”) to the phone you want to locate.
- Your phone must have Bluetooth turned on and be within 30 feet (10m) of your Fitbit device.
- The Fitbit app must be running in the background on your phone.
- Your phone must be turned on.

It only works right after being synced. Afterwards it stops working again.

Another requirement: there must not be any shielding between your phone and the watch. My watch can find my phone most of the time, but not when the phone happens to be inside an aluminium- clad dormer.

The same for me. Spent a lot of time on the phone with customer support trying everything possible. Nothing worked! It worked fine the first few days I had the phone. Did it ever get fixed for you?

That is pretty coincidental! Do you have an Iphone? I'm bummed because I'm forever misplacing my phone! I was so excited I had this feature.

Yes, I have an iPhone!

Ran for most of my life.
Still do an hour on the treadmill three days a week 3.2 pace.

Noel lemming completely reinstalled app and charge 6. Lost my data for the day but all working again.
