How do you discover this?  Serial number?  I bought one from Walmart and one from Amazon.

How do you know?  I am still on 214.24 - same as most of the community!

It's nice to not feel completely forgotten. But what about the watch faces that were released for the Charge 5? The ones titled Juxtaposed, Bifrost, Glimpse, and Brisk. I've been holding out for these making it to the Charge 6, they look like the best designed faces of the whole Charge series. Bifrost especially, it's exactly what I want. Why aren't they here, the work is already done! Surely it would be trivial to port them, the hardware is nearly identical!

If only...I wish someone would explain to me what support meant by telling me "We can assure you that you are one update away from receiving the update. And yet I'm at 214.24

I am too. I do not expect an update and will probably always be "one update away". My device and app are sorta working, so maybe I'm better off than some.

Curious where the people who got the update bought it from or serial number series.  Any logic to the "roll out"?

I received the .31 update today, and I bought my Charge 6 to replace my dying Charge 5 about 2 month ago. Activation date Oct 7 2025. When I first activated it, it immediately updated to version .24, and skipped the .21 update.

I bought it from Amazon.com. I don't know where to find the serial number, and I don't think I would post it online anyway.

I would think they have some sort method in order to determine who gets the the updates first. Pretty sure they would have to in order to restrict some and let others get it.

But why would they restrict any?  If you buy a used pixel phone, you keep getting updates every month.  Wonder if they treat Google watches the same way.

The serial number for these is etched in the cavity where the bottom strap goes. Mine came from Amazon. Activation date 2025/02/08. Manufactured 2024.

Fwiw I think it's unlikely that the rollout is based on serial number order, or serial numbers at all. Maybe indirectly by hardware revisions, or organized by blocks of serial numbers. More likely is that they're doing some kind of A/B testing, Google has a history of doing this with betas and software rollouts. If so then who's chosen would be randomized so as to get a representative sample. Could be regional as well.

Got it one month late but it did arrive today. Hope it fixed horrible battery performance, otherwise it will be returned.
