Hey,
this morning when I sync'ed my fitbit (how else would I know whether I slept well or not, after all) it took forever and then complained about low battery of 9% - I had just charged it fully two days ago? Plus, it apparently stopped recording data yesterday at around 16:00 (which I didn't notice, since I mostly use it as a watch during the day).
I obviously charged it and restarted it just in case, but this is a new one ... Has this happened to anyone else?

Sorry to see that your new Charge 6 battery isn't lasting as long as you'd like. This help page has the recommended tips to maximize Fitbit device battery life (<-- click link).
If none of the tips work to extend your battery, you should contact Support (<-- click link). Complete the prompts until you get the option to chat or call.
