I recently upgraded from the inspire 2 to the charge 6 and at this point am less than impressed. After the first few days of not receiving sleep data I learned that I needed to spin the device to the inside of my wrist at night before bed to register. Okay, I will deal with it. But my biggest problem is that I am doing all of my hourly steps and they register on the fitbit but will short me an hour or sometimes two on the app! I reached out to support twice and have yet to find a solution. Help!

@WakeNbake Welcome to the forums. Thanks for reaching out about the time displayed for the reminders to move.
Please note that it is a known situation and Fitbit is addressing already. In this case we can only ask you for your patience as it will be resolved soon. Even if you change the settings it may still show the incorrect time. Please wait around 24 hours and check it again. Thanks in advance!

Fitbit updated yesterday and the problem is still there. The app continues to short me at least 1 hour a day on my hour activities. I keep trying to be patient but it's starting to try mine.

I have this problem, so obviously a year later, the issue isn't fixed. In my hourly step count (in the hourly activity section) in the app, it shows, for instance, my step count between 3pm and 4pm when the time is actually anywhere between 2.00pm and 2.59pm. My app is set the the correct time zone and they are syncing correctly.

Still a problem. Yesterday my Charge 6 gave me the 11/11 message but the app only showed 8/11. Come on Google. You’re supposed to be better than this!

Still not working correctly.

Still not working. Syncing, restarting, etc. doesn't fix this. If Fitbit needs a programmer to match variable x on device to variable y on app, let me know. Reasonable rates.

I have the same problem since upgrading to charge 6, I’ve found that if you just make 250 steps on the watch it registers but I need to do another 50 or so for it to register the hour as complete in the app; so it appears to be 250 for the watch and around 300 for the app, can’t find any reason for this. This is only an issue if you get the 10 min step warning, try to catch up to 250 within the 10 minutes then stop, not a problem if you always make 300+ in an hour; strange

I'm having the same issue. My time is accurate, but my fitbit tells me i've met 8/8 on my 250 steps per hour goal but then my app shows 6/8. It has been doing this several days now and restart and reset don't work. I just updated and its been worse since the update.

Going back to my original comment; I don’t think this is a synchronising issue. The watch consistently updates at 250 steps, whereas it takes the app around 300 steps to register. I’ve just tried this as my watch hit 250 steps, synchronised, and it didn’t register in the app, then did another 50 steps, and it registered in the app; it seems to me that the app is taking the steps in the hour count from the app count itself (at around 300) and not from the synchronised watch count status.

Nothing appears to have changed although for the past several months the message “…unable to download goals…” has appeared. Since it now has no goals it is impossible to measure progress. I think my next stop will be Apple Watch. Hopefully their stuff is better integrated.

I hope you have found some relief. my app display has totally disappeared, and I can’t find a way to get it restored. Are there any updates to this problem from the moderator.

Hello @TMinSeattle
You should not lose your data if you delete and re-install the Fitbit app. When you sync your device to the app, your data is uploaded to your account on the Fitbit servers. There is a syncing process between the app and the servers so that you can see your historical data. We do suggest that you log out of the app before uninstalling. When you log back into the app after re-installing it, the app should sync with the Fitbit servers to re-populate your historical data.
Just to let you know, I've uninstalled and re-installed my Fitbit app on my phone multiple times, including switching to a new phone. The only time that I experience a problem seeing my historical data is when the Fitbit servers are down.
