I pre-ordered my Charge 6 at first opportunity, 9/28/23. Received email on 10/10/23 that it had shipped. Nope, according to the USPS only a tracking label was generated and nothing was shipped. As of today, 19th Oct, tracking still puts it at waiting for pickup. I've already paid. Is this some type of gimmick?

Yes a terrible one talked customer service this morning and they haven't even shipped they ar back ordered. Screw their customers and send them everywhere else first. I was told one to two weeks but couldn't get a firm date

I'm in the exact same boat (here in the States). Just talked with Customer Service for the 3rd time and they're telling me I need to wait until Monday which will be the end of the 5-7 business days from when it was supposed to have arrived.
This is unacceptable and I'll end up leaving a bad review somewhere for the whole experience. This is my first time ordering direct from Fitbit and it's left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

I was just on the phone again. Will never buy from them again. The nearest I got was to also call bak Monday. I believe at this point I will return it and try something else if I ever get it

Yes, lots of us with this issue. In the US and people in the UK are having the same problems. There is a separate thread that is 6 pages deep on that. My label was printed on October 10th, but is still hanging out in Carol Stream, Illinois with zero movement.
I got the Pre-order with the Premium bundle and the extended warranty. The 1 year of Premium started immediately on the day of purchase. I talked to customer service and was told this was "app based" and I can start using those features immediately. With no device I haven't even looked.
I bet my warranty started the day of the purchase as well. Oh, and the full amounts were charged when the device "Shipped" and by "Shipped" it means, they "printed USPS labels" on October 10th.

Same here. I received an email saying it was shipped on Oct. 10th...... I just checked. The shipping label was printed, but awaiting pickup still. So IT HASNT SHIPPED. This is just bad planning/management/operations.

Same story here. I ordered 9/28/23. Fitbit said it shipped on 10/10/23. Nope! Still sitting in Carol Stream, IL. They just created a label, charged me, and started my warranty on the 10th. I call BS. Come Monday I'm calling the bank to revert my CC charges. There's other stuff out there. Took me 3 Charge 5's to get one to work properly. Customer service can be pretty lousy at times, but I have had some good. I WAS PROMISED MY CHARGE 6 ON THE 12TH!

I too have gotten the same pre-ordered I thought I would get it before Amazon could ship one out I guess I was wrong now you can even go to Best buy and buy one

Same boat. Ordered on 9/28/23. Took my money, started my warranty, and shipped the device on 10/10. No change in USPS tracking status. I did a chat with Fitbit today and I was told, "it is a device that is having a big demand. Also, we are expecting the charge 6 devices to arrive next week." I asked if my device has actually shipped, and she at first said if it hasn't arrived by end of day Monday then call back. Then it went to it will be delivered by Tuesday, but if not wait until Wednesday. Finally she said, "if you do not receive the order next week we can provide you any information you need."
I tried to cancel, but because the order status page shows Shipped, they can't/won't cancel. However they did offer me a 15% rebate on the device to compensate for the warranty starting on 10/10, instead of changing the date to when I actually received the device.

UPDATE 10/21/23
Rcvd notification that my Charge 6 had shipped and I would receive it on 10/24/23.
I did a little digging and found out that where the shipping info had been logged was from a large customs distribution center. Also, they could take their time in shipping small items.
"International Distribution Centers are the facilities that the U.S. Customs office is a part of. Once a package makes it to that facility it's getting closer to its destination but there isn't a set timeframe for items to “clear” customs and continue to the delivery office."
This information should have been posted from Fitbit to help clear things up about why it was taking so long to receive my items. Doesn't help that I pre-ordered my Charge 6 on 9/28, notified it was shipped on 10/10/23, and I would receive my Charge 6 on 10/12.
Still a long time to hold items without updates.

Shipping FINALLY updated for me this morning. Says it should be arriving today. I'll be contacting customer service again today to get my warranty and Premium subscription bumped to start today. It's the LEAST they can do for me after all this.

Well it seems the little bugger is on the move. I am showing that it will be delivered by end of day 10/25, Wednesday (Ordered 9/28). That's 11 business days, which is way past the 5-7 business days. I really wish they would have acknowledge there was a delay and gave me the option to refund. I would have purchased it from Amazon and had it way sooner. Unfortunately, last week my Charge 4 finally gave up the ghost and will not power on at all (battery was on its last leg). I finally called Fitbit last Friday and they stated, "there are more coming in next week, so if you don't receive your product by the end of next week call us back and we will discuss the next steps.", so I decided to contact my credit card company to start the charge back process, and I also reached out to the FTC regarding the situation. On Sunday I went ahead and ordered up a Garmin Venu 3, from Amazon, and it arrived last night. I really didn't want to pay that kind of price for a fitness tracker, but after this whole experience, plus what Fitbit did to their app, I really feel like you get what you pay for. Fitbit feels entry level now.
Now I just got to finish this return process, and I can finally be done with this experience. I hope everyone else gets their devices soon. It does seem they are shipping, but are just shipping way later than the emails that we received stated. Problem defiantly isn't USPS as I already spoke with them and they said it will take 2 business to get it returned back as there are currently no delays. Good luck everyone.

Hello everyone. Thanks for your posts about your Fitbit Charge 6 order and its status. Please note that many factors can affect a delivery. If you paid for expedited delivery and there is a delay, you can submit a claim with customer support and they will provide you with a suitable resolution.
I am glad to read some of you have received it already. I recommend you keep on checking your order status (How can I track my Fitbit order?) you will see the order updates there. If you already have information from the courier, please keep on checking their tracking information as well. I appreciate your patience.

I pre-ordered to Canada Oct 3. Order still stuck in being processed phase! Customer service keeps saying no issue with my order or payment info. Fitbit premium trial 1st month already wasted. I can buy one in stock at local stores today with less than one hour of my time! Fitbit won't let me cancel the order so i can buy one in person. I have to wait for processing, pay, wait for shipping, then send it back - whenever it arrives - and hope I get a refund. Or not buy one in person and wait for some unknown date of arrival! What was the point of pre ordering? Why no ability yo cancel order? List all my enthusiasm for this product and brand. Terrible communication. If I could cancel Id never buy again. Apple!
