During the day I want the Screen Wake mode on so I can see time with a turn of my wrist.
However, when sleeping I've brern woken up to a bright light in my face with this option on.
Yes, I know abot sleep mode but turning sleep mode on every night seems well dumb. If the Charge 6 can detect when I'm sleeping and in REM sleep, etc. so shouldn't it automatically just dim the display by itself then when I awake and start walking again, it resets and goes back to day/active mode. Shouldn't be too hard to make it a little smarter.
Or even an option in the app to enable Screen wake mode with a time schedula 6am - 10pm or whatever.

Hello @jasonM1 and welcome to the Community. Sorry, but the sleep detection can’t put your Charge 6 into a sleep mode, but you can set a schedule just like the one you describe. Find the Settings app on your Charge 6. Look for the Quiet Mode settings.

Thanks @LZeeW
That's awesome. Didn't know about the quiet mode setting.
It's exactly what I was looking for. No more fumbling around for the night mode before sleeping.

In the Quiet Mode settings, do we have to activate the sleep mode schedule interval to have the device automatically stop lighting up during the scheduled interval time? Will this interfere with the automatic sleep detection functions? I've been turning on sleep mode to prevent the night time light up, but then the app shows I'm asleep way before I actually fall asleep.

@Aprilb721 They are two separate features. One doesn't affect the other. Fitbit uses your lack of wrist movement to detect sleep automatically. If you read in bed or do something like that, your Fitbit will 'detect' sleep even if you are awake.
Sleep in an EEG diagnosis. Fitbit uses your lack of wrist movement and other physiologic data to detect sleep and generate sleep stages.

Hello @Aprilb721
You only need to set up the bedtime schedule to keep the screen from lighting up during the night. Your Charge 6 will automatically go into sleep mode at the scheduled start time and automatically turn off at the scheduled end time, unless you turn sleep mode off manually. As @LZeeW said, this doesn't affect automatic sleep detection. Your Charge 6 will not start tracking your sleep until it detects that you're at rest & haven't moved for about hour.
If you still have questions about bedtime mode, please let us know.
