Fitbit app not recording time or zone minutes correctly on run

I ran eight miles this morning. I started tracking the exercise on the app on my phone and wore the phone on an armband as I ran. The app calls out each mile and the time it took me to run it. I averaged an 11.13 minute mile. When I stopped at the end of the run and exited the tracking, Fitbit recorded it took me a total of 10 minutes to run the entire eight miles, and my average per mile was 1’18”. It also only recorded 11 zone minutes for an eight-mile run.
