App adds multiple entries of food items, some items delete moments after adding. Close the app is adds a bunch of duplicates. Calories aren’t’ adding correctly. Macros are over inflated. Why are there issues every couple of weeks?

I am using a Versa 4 - same issue.
Mine is doing the same thing! For the last week it is not adding food correctly. They will disappear and then when you go back in, they'll be multiple food entries of the same thing! This is so frustrating! Also my sleep is not accurate. It will show. I slept two hours when I slept eight
Frustrated Charge 6 user here having the same issues. I initiated a chat last night and they said they said they are aware of the issue and are working to correct it. Super frustrating and it seems to be happening more frequently.
I have been in touch with them. Sent them the screen shots they asked for. Will just have to wait to hear from them now. I know from other issues outside Fitbit that letting them know directly is sometimes best. Some companies wait for a certain amount of complaints before they start looking into them. So the more the better. 🙂
Yesterday our fitbits were having similar issues with adding food and calories. Now I logged off and signed back in but I cannot even check what I had for breakfasts historically. I am not sure if it counts calorie deficit correctly.
Oh dear, I m getting the same software issues with my food entries. I hoped the system update I applied yesterday was a fix - no it got worse. My breakfast and most of my lunch entries for yesterday have disappeared, the graph keeps going up and down. I am impressed with the new version 6 - just a major NO to the s**t software - I would NOT advise anyone to purchase any Fitbit.
Best AnswerThey sent me steps to follow. Which I did but to no effect. So got back to them. It seems to have settled though it took the day it actually started to settle a while. Now I have no "Recents". So am just watching and waiting to hear back again. They were very apologetic and confirmed they were still working on the issues. Fingers crossed.
