GPS maps not found on app with Charge 6

I am able to see my GPS map while I am walking. However, when I am done walking and tap 'Finish' all I see is a statistical summary of my walk but I don't see the map.  I do see the map if I log into my Fitbit account on a PC.  Where can I find the maps within the Fitbit app on my iPhone? or do they no longer existing under Google's version.  I've double checked settings and everything seems to be set correctly.

Hello @Jmb222 and welcome to the Community.  It sounds like you are tracking your walk in the Fitbit app by tapping on the green + sign, then Start exercise.  This is a feature Fitbit calls MobileRun.  To put it bluntly, MobileRun is an obsolete way of GPS tracking for current Fitbits.  Please use the Exercise app on your Charge 6 with the Walk shortcut and GPS on.

Thanks for the prompt response. Just a couple follow questions.

I noticed when i use the MobileRun, as you described, the Exercise app on my watch is automatically activated as well so I'm not sure if that makes a difference regarding the maps.

Will I still be able to see the maps on my phone if I only use the Exercise app on the charge 6?

If MobileRun is still a feature in the app, shouldn't it still work? (even if considered obsolete?)

@Jmb222   The Charge 6 has an additional feature in the Exercise app that isn't in previous models.  It's called Walk Detect and it opens the Exercise app with the Walk shortcut.  I think that is what is activating.  That might make a difference in seeing a map, using two tracking features at once.  I took a walk using MobileRun in my iPhone and I got a map.  I disabled the Walk Detect on my Sense 2 a while ago, because I don't use it.

I recommend using the Exercise app on your Charge 6 with GPS.  There is a setting in the Settings app on the Charge 6.  I recommend Dynamic or Phone, because the Built-In GPS can be erratic.  I know it's a real issue on the Charge 5, so I suspect the Charge 6 is similar.

When I wrote that I consider MobileRun obsolete for current trackers, I was referring to the fact that MobileRun only has 3 activity choices, all current devices have the Exercise app, and MobileRun doesn't include your heart rate graph.  I got a map, so it seems to be working within its known limitations.
