Hello.
I can connect to the Garmin Edge but he don’t broadcast the HR.
Anyone?

DC Rainmaker explained in his detailed review of the Charge 6 yesterday why it doesn’t work. Fitbit implemented an encrypted HR data stream which most devices don’t support. I think it may be fixed by firmware updates but would require Fitbit to change their approach to the HRM process, which is a big unknown.

@Matt_bike that may be more complicated to fix. Encryption layer is part of BLE stack. BLE has several security methods which are agreed on by handshake on the connection but receivers don't expect that. Sensors don't encrypt data because they don't need to, there is nothing sensitive in the immediate data coming from sensors like HRMs, cadence, speed, power. Fitbit seems to be using exactly same communication both for syncing and broadcasting (encryption). In fact, it broadcasts all the time. Removing encryption for one thing and not for the other may be rather tricky (and not secure from Fitbit's perspective). I kind of doubt Fitbit will change that. Currently, nobody encrypts sensor data (ANT+ and BLE) and receivers don't support decryption because it's not needed that much. Also, assuming sensors would start encrypting the data, they would be send back right after finding out they can't connect to the equipment 🤷
Today, I tried to use Charge 6 with Concept2 (which is on the list of devices supported) but the rower didn't even find the tracker.
