Has anyone got a UK debit card to work on Charge 6 Google Wallet?

Halifax debit card was immediately rejected by card machine.  I have now tried 2 cards, both on the Google Pay for Fitbit compatibility list, both fail.  On reading the Charge 5 forum section this seems to have been a problem for months, without any fix or timescale to fix.  Has anyone got a debit card working or should I just give up?

I signed up to Curve card in the UK so I could use on fitbit, originally for Fitbit pay, but works fine on Google Pay too. The Curve card acts as a front to many cards, so I have the card I need selected throught the Curve app, then that's the card that gets charged when I scan my watch to pay.

Interesting, so at least one 'aggregator' card works.  Anyone with an actual debit card working?

Ask your bank support. It is up to the bank to add the support. What works in the phone wallet, may not work in the watch wallet, since their support have to be separately added by the bank
