Having issues sync with fitbit mobile app for charge 6 after update.

Hi , 

I seem to be having this issue ever since I updated the fitbit charge 6. Now it keeps asking me to sync from the fitbit mobile app and the fitbit mobile app keeps tryiong to update the fitbit buit keeps failing. As a result, my charge 6 is not able to be used at all and the fitbit app says could not update. I am at a loss as to what to do with it now. Can anyone advise ?

Hello @WeeCH1 

Have you tried uninstalling the Fitbit app from your mobile device, re-installing the app, then adding your Charge 6 as a new device? 

  • Log out of the Fitbit app
  • Uninstall the app from your mobile device
  • Re-install the app 
  • Log back in
  • Tap the device icon in the upper left of the Today page
  • Tap Add more devices
  • Scroll to find the Charge 6 and tap
  • Continue with the process to add your Charge 6 to the app

Hi, 

Have read the followinf and tried the steps but to no avail. the watch keeps showing "sync from the fitbit mobile app" and there is no way to access into the watch at all

Have tried the steps you mentioned as well but again, the watch just shows the following "sync from the fitbit mobile app"  and the fitbit app keeps saying could not update and keeps asking to try again

Hello @WeeCH1 

The other troubleshooting step that I've seen is access the Fitbit app on your phone and do a Force stop. Then, open it and see if you can sync.
