Hello- I was so hoping the Charge 6 would be more consistent. And it did seem to be until the firmware update that I did over the weekend. Now its about fifteen to twenty points lower than a chest strap monitor. Not happy. Anyone else had this experience?
Thanks,
Sarina

I’m having the same issue.

My heartbeat regularly registers as low as 38 with the Charge 6. It rarely dropped below 46 with my Versa. Also, I get weird HIGH spikes occasionally.

I am having the same problem. I think they may have an issue here with the charge 6.

Agreed. I get my hopes up with every new Charge that is released only to discover more challenges with the new ones.

In all honesty, we have to consider that this a tool for recreational purposes and not a medical device. After all, what can we realistically expect from a device that promises all these features and yet retails for less than $200? Imagine what you would pay for a medical grade device and then use this within its (limited) parameters. It is, first and foremost an activity tracker - any other information should be considered a bonus.

Hi, so i did two identical workouts so i could compare the heart rate/calorie burn. Day one: 66 minutes, 128 average heart rate, burned 402 calories. Day two: 66 minutes, 118 average heart rate, burned 412 calories...so i burned MORE calories on the day with a lower heart rate, absolutely impossible.....REALLY UNHAPPY with the charge 6, so inaccurate...charge 3 and charge 4 were WAAAAY more accurate.

Similar issue. I don't know about the update as I just got my Charge 6 about a month ago, but it says its on the current firmware and app version....
Seems fine for resting heart rate, but when using the stationary bike, it consistently reads 10 to 20 BPM too low, when compared to the ol' press-your-carotid-while-staring-at-watch method. The HR monitor for exercise is the main reason I bought it.....
