Heart rate monitor

My new charge 6 doesn’t show an active HR monitor. Am I dead?

Hello @Dunkem

Unless I'm missing something, I don't think you're dead.

Do you see a green light on the back of your Charge 6? I've been able to trigger the light by placing my finger on the back for a few seconds and lifting up. If there's no light, then it's likely you have a defective device and should contact Fitbit support (<-- click link)

If you see a green light, you might want to confirm that the heart rate monitor is still enabled. It's supposed to be on by default, but sometimes it gets accidentally turned off. Go to the Settings menu on your Charge 6 and tap. Swipe up to Heart Rate and confirm it's enabled.

If you haven't tried yet, some users have had success getting their Charge 6 to show heart rate by restarting their device.

Thanks for the tips. Green light OK and HR is showing on device. Problem was in it not synching to my iPhone XS. I deleted everything and reinstalled and it seems to be working OK. I couldn’t find that menu in settings

Hi @Dunkem

Thanks for letting us know that your heart rate monitor is finally working. Sorry that you had to go through the delete & re-install process, but I'm glad that it's all good now.
