Hourly Activity Settings won’t work

ANSWERED

This doesn’t have to do with time change. Since Cardio Calibration appeared (calibrating for days) am not able to change the beginning hour for my daily hourly activity. A bit frustrating since I don’t get up the same time everyday. I’ve tried all the fixes I know to no avail.

@HoosierMama13  @Mathetria   Please try the following path.  Tap on your You icon on the bottom right of your Fitbit app.  Scroll down to Goals.  You should be able to change all goals there.  Help article  There are other paths described in older threads.  I am seeing the same thing on some of my app pages, things that used to be active, but aren't.  I think it is unrelated to the cardio load appearance and is just another tweak to the app.

I also want to reinforce what @RiekoC wrote.  App issues are usually platform specific . Android or iOS, but not both.  This is why we ask.  You can often get help faster by posting in the appropriate app forum.  😉

Same problem here. AND it won't let me update my weight goals, either. Everything is grayed-out, or the "update" link just does nothing. I've dumped the cache, tried turning things on and off...all to no avail. This is SUPER annoying.

Hello @HoosierMama13

Please let us know what fixes you've tried so that we don't suggest the same ones.

By any chance, did you try clearing the storage for the Fitbit app on your phone followed by force stop? Since this will clear both the cache & data, you will need to log back into the app when you open the app after doing this.

Also, let us know what version of the Fitbit app you have on your phone. You can check by tapping on your picture in the upper right of the Today page in the Fitbit app and selecting Help. Your app version information will be on the Help page.

Hello @Mathetria

Please let us know which app version you have and if you are an Android or iOS user.

You mention that you cleared the cache for the Fitbit app. Have you also tried clearing the storage for the app, then force stop, and re-open?

Thank you, that worked for both. Although I do wish the app would let us extend the end time to midnight. Some of us are night owls. I can't get it to set past 11pm. It used to accept midnight.

I have the same issue. I’ve followed the steps you suggested but it’s not worked. It lets me change the times, looks like it has changed/saved but then the graph still shows the old times. So frustrating!!

Hello @emmaliddon

I've seen other users mention that they couldn't change the hours for their Reminder to Move in this thread (<-- click link).

See if this pathway works for you:

  • Tap on the device icon in the upper left of the Today page in the Fitbit app
  • Tap on the Charge 6 tile under Devices
  • Tap on Reminders to move under Settings
  • Change the hours for the time period
  • Do a manual sync, if the app didn't automatically start syncing

Please let us know pathway saved your changes.

Also, please consider posting in the thread that I linked. I've submitted that thread for issue escalation.

Im having this same problem.  I force quit the app, turned phone off and back on, deleted app, re-downloaded and logged back in.  It’s still not right.
