How do I get Charge 6 to AUTOMATICALLY enter sleep mode?

ANSWERED

I have a Charge 6.  I know how to set a “sleep schedule,” and I know how to manually enter “sleep mode,” but can someone please explain the exact steps to get the Charge 6 to AUTOMATICALLY go into sleep mode for the duration of my sleep schedule?  Thanks very much!

First, "sleep schedule" has nothing to do with "sleep mode".  Sleep schedule is really just for your reference as a target.  To quote to Fitbit/Google Help section:

"Set a sleep schedule in the Fitbit app to help you meet your sleep goal and maintain consistent sleep patterns. You can set either a bedtime or a wake-up time target, or set both targets.

If you meet your target by going to sleep or waking up within 30 minutes of the target, a star appears in the sleep schedule graph. You won’t see a star If you set both bedtime and wake-up time targets but only meet one."

So I guess you get a star if you meet your sleep target but that's all.

To set sleep mode by a schedule, go into Full Settings, not Quick Settings.  There you set a schedule of the time you want sleep mode to turn on and off.  After that you never manually have to turn sleep mode on or off, as long as you keep to the schedule you set for the sleep mode.  I don't have the Charge 6 but here is from the manual.  On my Sense 2, you can also set the schedule by which days you want it for, say different hours for the weekend.  The manual doesn't go into detail for that but imagine it is the same.

Thank you so much!  This page from the manual is exactly what I was looking for.  I didn’t realize that in order to set up an automatic “sleep mode” schedule you had to (or even could) do it on the Fitbit itself, digging all the way down to “Quiet Modes,” rather than in the app.  I’m excited to not have to do this manually every night anymore!
