How do I get the free 6 months premium?

I bought my FitBit Charge 6 and was stating that I would have 6 months of premium included, how do I activate it?

If you purchased the Fitbit from Fitbit.com then you can add the charge 6 to a fitbit account that is active and logged in through your Google account and you can automatically receive the free premium 6 months of fitbit premium account access to your account automatically upon your account meeting all the necessary criteria required for the 6 months of premium membership to apply. Please refer to the reading material available in the box of the charge 6 and verify that you have met and are compliant with the requirements for this first and circle back if you are and I will further assist you. I just purchased my new Fitbit charge 6 from Amazon. I have never had a Fitbit before. Google recognized that I was a new owner when I signed into the app. The app is only showing a free 90 day premium membership available not a 6 month membership. How do I fix this? Thank you!

I guess I'll answer my own question. When I started setting up my Fitbit account it only showed that a free 90 day membership was available. Apparently that wasn't the full setup. There was another setup that I was unaware of and that unlocked the full free 6 month premium membership. The process was very confusing and people that don't realize that it comes with a 6 month membership may get jipped. Google please fix this.
