I have used the profile> Fitbit setting> Push Notifications> and turned off everything except low battery. I still get good job, walking detected and zone minute notifications throughout the day. I also tried setting my goals to zero and that is not allowed. Today I deleted the app, reloaded it, turned off all push notifications in the Apple settings. Unfortunately, even if this works, I will stop getting phone and text notifications.
I just want all notifications turned off except text and phone calls. I would rather not buy the "other" watch but I don't want to be bothered all day. I don't need to be told I am doing a good job.

Update: Fitbit is still getting notifications for texts. Below is my settings, based on that, should I be getting text message alerts? Its football Sunday so I don't expect to get too many Good Job! alerts today. 😂
Unfortunately the alerts continue to irritate. I will monitor for a response for a week before I decide to find a watch that turns alerts off.
