Got a charge 6 (after 4 and 5 both broke).
how do I set custom heart rates so that I can get zone minute credit starting at a heart rate i choose?
I can’t use the default because I have an injury to my heart

On Adroid, you can try tapping on your profile image in the top right corner, choose Fitbit settings, then choose Activity & Wellness and finally Heart Settings. There, under Heart Rate Zones, you can access and cusomize your heart rate zones by either setting a custom max heart rate or add custom heart rate zones and then check if the image is displaying the numbers you would like.

Thank you for the answer. I have already been in there. It doesn’t allow you to set the zone rate minutes in there. That’s just max heart rate or min heart rate where an alarm goes off warning you.
im looking to set the point where zone minutes start getting credited.
for example, i want 108BPM and higher to be my zone minutes heart rate.
i had them set in the old app, but was required to move over to the google app to use a charge 6. now i can’t find where to set zone minute heart rates

You can try achieving that by setting a custom max heart rate. My max heart rate is set to 170 bpm by default and based on that the heart rate zone minutes start at 108 bpm.

this is all i have in that location. It does not set my maximum heart rate for working out. This is the maximum heart rate or if you are sitting there doing nothing in your heart start beating like crazy. That’s what it says.
EDIT: this software would not allow me to attach the screenshot. In any case, this is not a heart rate like you are describing. This is a different heart rate. This heart rate is an alarm that goes off if you exceed that certain number while you are sitting doing nothing on the couch. That’s what it says on the screen. It’s not your heart rate for zone minutes.

got some info from Gemini . at least i got the correct terminology
it was always called a “Custom Heart Rate Zone” and it’s GONE!!!
Gemini: Custom Heart Rate Zones on Charge 6:
The Charge 6 doesn't allow you to directly set individual heart rate zones for exercise (Fat Burn, Cardio, Peak).
this sucks. why did i waste my money on this thing?
yoi absolutely can’t control your heart rate zones to manipulate when or when you don’t get credit for zone minutes.
i would have been better off just buying a heart rate monitor to strap to my chest since this trash doesn’t work on a treadmill, doesn’t allow for customizing zine minutes and will probably break apart in under a year like the Charge 4 and charge 5 did.
im pissed they took this feature away without me knowing.
unbelievable. this is nothing more than a not-always-working heart monitor at this point

Absolutely agree, looking at an Apple watch for more detailed interaction and adjustment with HR!
