Mine has kept me self accountable everyday to make sure I get my steps in! The goal is always 10k, some days Ill get 9k, 13k, 5k.. as long as I get my weekly average to be 10k.
Having this watch improved my mental health and I'm so grateful for it!
How has this device helped you personally?

Some obvious ways, and some less than obvious.
The activity tracking being the obvious way, including steps, hourly activity, and exercise such as HIIT and Spinning. The less obvious relates to how my lifestyle affects my resting heart rate, some something as simple as sleep quality to when I last eat something before sleeping.
However, don't be surprised if you don't get many positive stories around here.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @samadaid!
Nice idea you had for this thread.
Thanks to Fitbit, I've been able to loose weight without sacrificing too much. By using Fitbit's integrated food tracking I've learned enough about nutrition that I was able to loose over 10 kg in the last quarter of 2022, having started at 84 kg. My only sports activity for increased calorie consumption is walking.
Currently I'm constantly around 69 kg and enjoy my life, even culinary.

Fitbits are entry level fitness trackers and as far as basics go they do help. It was a great help when I owned Charge 2 a few years back and needed get myself in shape. There is that threshold when Fitbits no longer serve its purpose due to lack of more advanced features. Great to start moving, easy to understand, not flooding users with million metrics, pretty straight forward. However, this simplicity excluded Fitbit from use in training in my case. I don't need to count steps, I don't track sleep or food intake but rather need training features which no Fitbit supports. But honestly, Fitbit definitely was a great thing for me when had to get myself from fatness to fitness but had to look for something more specialized going from fitness to athlete...ness (yeah, totally made up word).
