How often does the Charge 6 monitor heart rate?

ANSWERED

I recently purchased an Apple watch and to my chagrin it only monitors your heart rate every 10 minutes. Huge deal breaker for me, what's the point of being able to detect abnormal heart rates if it can be missed if it's not within the period it actually measures???

So, my question is, how often does the fitbit measure heart rate? Is it every minute? Every second? I know it's constantly measured during workouts, but I would like it to be constant passively too. Thanks.

From a Google search:

Continuous Monitoring:
Fitbit devices are designed to track your heart rate 24/7, including while you're sleeping and during various activities.

Please note that the graphs in the Fitbit app won't show every reading the device sees, but the device itself will show real time HR readings.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @lokepjo2! And thanks for the insight @gdio53, I truly appreciate your help.

@lokepjo2 I understand your doubt in regards to how the Charge 6 and Fitbit devices in general track heart rate.

Fitbit devices have optical heart rate sensors that use rapidly flashing green LEDs to detect changes in blood volume in the capillaries of your wrist. Light-sensitive photodiodes measure these changes, and your device calculates your heart rate in beats per minute (bpm). The infrared light is used to detect when the device is worn to improve the accuracy of your heart rate readings. You can check more about this here, if needed.
