How to associate my mobile with Fitbit app?

I can't associate my smartwatch with Fitbit app. I would like to receive notifications calls and messages in my charge 6 but I cant. Please I need help

@demi11 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message. 

Your charge 6 needs to be paired to your Fitbit account in order to send the messages received in your mobile device. 
I suggest you to have a look at this: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

After pairing the Charge 6 with your account, please follow the steps here to set up the notifications.  How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
