Hey,
my watch registers step even tho I’m just doing something with my hands.
is there someway to fix that so it’s not so sensible?
or how to delete steps? I’ve tried to delete within the app but then it seems like I have to delete all steps for the day?
and this under the dashboard 👇🏻 doesn’t work either
greatful to get some help 😊

Hello @Beajuu and welcome to the Community. Most users wear their trackers on their non-dominant wrist. You can change the sensitivity of the accelerometer by changing it to Dominant in the settings. Tap on your device/battery icon in the upper left of your app > Charge 6 > change wrist to Dominant. This will reduce, but not eliminate, 'steps' from arm movements. In my case, changing mine from non-dominant to dominant decreased my step count by more than 1000 steps per day.
All wrist worn trackers can overcount and undercount steps. My hair stylist gave up on step tracking because her job involves arm movements while standing in one place. People who push carts and strollers often get no 'steps' at all while pushing a cart.
I can't comment on logging driving as an activity. It's not something that I do. You're not the only user who has commented that this recommendation no loner works. Like I mentioned, there are reasons why your Fitbit will overcount and undercount steps. I follow trends.
