Updated my charge 6 yesterday, now it won't sync. I uninstalled it today now my phone can't find it. HELP PLEASE

I have the same problem! I updated the firmware yesterday and it stopped syncing today. I tried restarting my Bluetooth, rebooting my phone, reinstalling the app, it didn't help. I restarted the Charge 6, it didn't help. I removed the Charge 6 and when I try to add it again, the screen is stuck on "Searching for your Charge 6..." for a while, then I get an error message "Something went wrong. An error occurred. Please try again." That's not very helpful!

I only have my one phone, but your reply gave me an idea! I checked my Bluetooth settings, and the Charge 6 was still there as a known device. So I removed it and then I could pair it again through the app! Thank you!

To uninstall from the phone, you remove the Charge 6 from your phones BT.
This does not uninstall from your fitbit account, and when the fitbit app is restarted, you will be promoted to connect the Charge 6 to the phone.
Removing the Charge 6 from your Fitbit Account, will not remove the Charge 6 from your phone. The app may not find your trusted Charge 6 until after the Charge 6 is removed from your phones BT menu.
As you already found out, your Charge 6 can only connect to one device at a time.

Thanks, that helped for me! My charge 6 didnt sync at all after that new update. I managed to get it working last night by removing the app, setting the fitbit back to factory settings etc, but this morning it was out of sync again... Removing it from my BT settings on the phone is what solved it (for now...)!
