How to setup a Charge 6 on a child's account

I bought a Charge 6 for my daughter but she is underage. So I created a new google account for her with parental permission from my account but now in her account setting up the device the charge 6 isn’t available as an device option, only Fitbit for kids devices are selectable. Any ideas?

Only the Ace Clocks are for children. Thanks to f.... Fitbit.

Please see the response from @LZeeW in this thread (<-- click link). She explains why children must be at least 13 yo (16 yo in some countries) to use a Fitbit, other than the Ace series.

Same here!! It is driving me crazy. Choice of the parent has been taken away. I would love to find a work around but so far no success.
