Thank you so much for your question about how to activate the 6 month free trial.

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap the You tab > tap Try Fitbit Premium.

  2. Choose the free trial and follow the instructions to subscribe.

If the Fitbit device you purchased indicates that it includes a trial to Fitbit Premium, but you’re currently a Fitbit Premium member, then you must cancel your Premium subscription in order to be able to activate the trial. About 1-3 days after your canceled subscription expires, you’ll find an offer in the Fitbit app to begin the trial. For instructions on how to cancel your Fitbit Premium subscription, please see How do I manage or cancel my Fitbit Premium subscription?

I want to activate my 6 month free Premium subscription but I only have one expired credit card listed and the Add Payment Method is greyed out. How or where must I go to remedy the payment method? I tried logging into my Google Wallet but that credit card is not even listed. Please advise.

You might want to reach out to Support (<-- click link) to see if they have any options to offer. Complete the prompts until you get the option to chat or call.
