I have a Charge 6. I cannot associate it to my work activity tracker unless I have a user name and password. I need to get off my google account log in and go back to user name/password.

I don't quite understand your situation. Do you have a different non-fitbit tracker that you have to wear at work that syncs to your phone to a different app that requires you to log out of the fitbit app?

The google account that is associated with my fitbit is my personal google account. At work, we have google accounts and there is security to prevent logging in with a non-work account. When I try to associate my fitbit in my work's activity tracker app, it gives me a user name and password option or "proceed with google". When I try that option, the system prevents me from selecting my personal account (I can try! but get a message that it's not allowed). A user name and password would work. In this case, google is controlling everything but 2 universes are colliding. Uncool.

I see. If you could still wear it at work, even if it is not logged in, it seems it should store your data, and then update it when you get out, similar to when people go camping in the wild away from any wifi signal for a few days, their data is all stored, then updated when they get back to civilization. Does that make sense for you?

No, the issue is that my work activity tracker gives us points that translate into money and I can't associate my charge 6 so that my activity goes into that tracker. Before the google control (when I could use user name and pw), all my activity went into the work tracker. I can never get my charge 6 data into my work tracker because I'm forbidden from associating with a different google account. It's pretty frustrating. It will cost me $400.

I would love to have a google answer for this. I work for a very large employer and I'm sure I'm not the only person who can't sync their fitbits because our employer network won't allow any other google sign in. Google is taking control of two things in this case: my work account and my fitbit account and one won't allow the other.

But if you are willing to wear 2 watchers all day, couldn't you still keep your phone logged into your work account most of the day, then at home occasionally once a day or even just on each weekend for a half hour, log your phone out of your work account and into your fitbit/Google account to let it download the saved data from your fitbit tracker to your phone.
Or, alternatively, you can wait for Google's response.

Is my use of the term "work activity tracker" confusing? It's not a wearable, it's an application that tracks our activity--ideally synced from a wearable!--and gives us money at the end of the year based on that activity. I know you don't have an answer for this, I'll go find a better place to complain!
