All I want is a LARGE HEART RATE display that stays on.
The Charge 6 clock/face named "Big & Bold" is big and bold– but after switching it to Heart Rate, then checking my Heart Rate moments later– it defaults back to the clock screen. Super annoying.
The Charge 6 clock/face "Tracks" does stay at the Heart Rate displayed like I want it to– but the font size is tiny due to it being inside a "heart" icon. When I triple-tap to zoom in on it, the Heart Rate display doesn't survive the zooming– it only shows the clock.
Is there a face– ANY FACE (standard or premium)– that just shows me a big, easy-to-read Heart Rate that until I want to remove it??
Thanks.

Hello and welcome to the community, @AsburyD.
Thanks for letting me know your opinion and suggestion about getting a big heart rate clock face on your Charge 6.
I was able to confirm you contacted support, if you have any other questions or concerns, my best recommendation would be to contact them.

It seems so simple and obvious - I too want a large font for HR; it's very hard to read especially if it's sunny. The choices for clock faces make it seem like a toy, not a serious fitness tool

I agree, I want to be able to see a big heart rate while exercising!!

I just got the charge 6, for heart rate monitoring. I too am disappointed with the insanely small heart rate display. Is this a fitness tracker or a watch? Seems all it's good for is displaying the time, and anything else is an after thought. Seriously thinking of returning this and getting a refund if it can't clearly display my heart rate without me needing to wear two pairs of glasses.
I don't understand why Google/fitbit are so clueless as to not have this as a main display feature.

FWIW: When I'm in an exercise, say Rowing, and I have turned on the "Always Display" button for the exercise, it displays my heart rate in large font.

But when swimming, HR is not displayed at all 😞

So what is the answer? How do I make my heart rate large and minimize the clock? .

Hello @DaveyMac578
As far as I know, there isn't a way to make changes on the clock face. You would have to look in the Gallery in the Fitbit app to see if there's a clock face that better meets your needs.

Purchased my Charge 6 yesterday with the principal aim to monitor heart beat.
I was astounded by the the fact that the device did not come with a clearcut option to show heart beat in large font on the display. The 2x and 3x magnification available provides only subtle improvement!
The monitoring of heart beat is one of the principal outputs of the device and definitely warrants better treatment by Google (in their coming updates).
Again - the device is not a "clock" - it is a device for optimizing and monitoring training!
Tried to mimic "Jogger"'s suggested fix above but failed in my navigation.
If there is an available (hidden) fix to the problem we all seem to share - please provide the necessary steps!
