Incorrect distance travelled on Charge 6 vs Fitbit app?

Evening, new to the fitbit community and having some issues with recent data. The distance travelled on my Fitbit Charge 6 is no longer showing as correct, the Fitbit app is correct and I don't understand why there is a difference between the two. A week or so ago the data was fine and synchronized on both. Now I have the variance.

I could not add photos but the Fitbit app currently shows: 11,880 steps and 8.21km. The Fitbit Charge 6 shows: 11,880 steps and 1.58km. Data taken at the exact same time.

I've seen other users report a similar issue. Based on those reports, it seems there's a problem with km versus miles. As far as I know, the team is aware of this issue and is working on fixing the problem.

If the data in the app is correct, that tells me that your correct data is being uploaded to your account. Hopefully, it won't take to fix the problem.
