I have a new Charge 6. The Irregular Heart Rate Monitor is not working. Anytime I try to access data the screen greys out and the app freezes meaning I need to uninstall and reload the App. I changed to a 6 because my Chargec5 died about a week after the warranty ended. I need an AFib alert. This is not good enough. I see it is a common and known problem without a current fix. Fitbit need to get their act together.
Moderator edit: clarified subject.

Hi @CLGHerts. Welcome to the forums.
I'm sorry to know the difficulty that you are experiencing with Charge 6. Thank you for providing the details regarding the situation.
Please, wear your Charge 6 especially to sleep, and sync your data to look for signs of AFib more often. For tips on how to wear your watch or tracker, see How do I wear my Fitbit device?
Sync your data often to help look for signs of AFib more often. We only send a notification if we see signs of an irregular rhythm in multiple readings, which means you might not receive irregular rhythm notifications if we’re not able to collect enough data each day.
To troubleshoot heart-rate tracking, see What factors can affect my heart-rate reading on my Fitbit device?

I wear my Fitbit Charge 6 24/7 (apart from charging time!). I have tried all the things you suggest multiple times. Whenever I click on the Irregular Heartbeat Notification my App screen greys out and freezes. At that point I have to uninstall the app, reinstall, reconnect my device and re sync. This is annoying and unacceptable. I cannot access the history or ECG readings. It is clearly a known problem to Fitbit as I can see from many other posts in multiple locations. When will Fitbit issue an update to resolve the problem?

I am having the same exact problem
----
None of that is the problem. The problem is in the Fitbit app itself. The screen goes grey and freezes the whole app, causing the user to have to close the app and re-enter just to get the app to function again. This happens every time, and only when, the irregular heart rhythm information tab is selected. There is zero information, the app screen goes grey and there is nothing you can do until you close out the app entirely and re-enter. There is no data to be seen, there is nothing but grey. It's a PROBLEM, and NOT with the USER. Please address the CORRECT ISSUE.

I had the same issue when I had my device in early Dec last year. I decided to return the device to Amazon in mid Dec since I had enough with their support telling me doing all the useless troubleshooting which I had done before contacting them. My experience tells me that it's definitely software issue or the integration with the health data stored in Google.
