Is a Charge 6 worth the $160 bucks?

I have been a fitbit user through multiple Charge models (6 years now). I really like a handful of specific features with fitbit and didn't want to stray from the brand, but the past year with my current device is leaving me skeptical to continue with fitbit.  My current charge randomly shuts down even when charged. When I do charge my device it either instantly restarts when I put the charger on or it changes the battery percentage to a completely different number than what it was prior to plugging it in. Then after charging, once I put the tracker on and go about my day, the battery plummets. Not to mention not long into owning my fitbit, the bracket that holds the band completely broke off so I had to purchase a bulky all in one silicone band. My device as it is right now, only lasts a day, and I have all the extra features like gps and notifications off.

So for those who have owned their charge 6 for at least a year now...how is it holding up?

Hi, @c668 , I guess whether or not it is worth the price is a pretty subjective question.  I have had a Charge 6 since first after its launch and it is still working fine.  I was a big fan of the early Fitbits, and my first love was the original Charge HR.

These days I have to say that I usually recommend the more modest (in terms of features and price) Inspire 3, it has most of the features of the Charge 6, but not all, so it really depends on what is most important to you.

For me the only feature of the Charge 6 that I miss on the Inspire 3 is the Wallet option.  But I get a longer battery life and a smaller, more feminine device on my wrist in return.  Your preferences might differ!

If you would like to have a quick comparison of different options/features for Fitbit and Google smartwatches and tracker options, have a look at the comparison feature on the Google store:
