Really don't want to put my credit card information on the site. If i need
one i would do it then. Therefore i will return the fit bit today

You do not need a credit card to join the Fitbit family, unless you want to use your tracker as a payment method or subscribe to Fitbit Premium. Otherwise, you can enjoy the benefits of your Charge 6 without any additional costs.
