I recently upgraded to a Fitbit Charge 6 in the hopes that it would offer a better experience than I have been having with the Charge 5+Fitbit App.
I want the device/app to autodetect exercise without starting an Exercise App. The Charge 5 behaved this way and it was good in that regard.
Specifically, I never want my screen to show anything but the selected clock face or what I manually navigate to. I do not want alerts or notification or vibration when I exercise. I DO want silent, accurate auto-detection.
How do I arrange this in settings?

@zeropercent The Charge 6 added a feature to the Exercise app that will start the Exercise app for these six shortcuts: walk, run, bike, elliptical, indoor rowing, and spinning. You must turn off this feature in the settings of each shortcut. Open your Exercise app on your Charge 6 and choose one of the shortcuts. Swipe up to go to that shortcut's setting. Look for Auto-Start and toggle it off. Repeat for each shortcut.
Now you should get your auto-recognized activities (SmartTrack), the ones you control in the Fitbit app. They are walk, run, elliptical, sports, aerobic workout, and swimming.
