I have used my Fitbit Charge 6 for swimming in the pool. I am reluctant to use it in open water swimming, especially in the ocean. Does anyone have experience with theirs? Thank you.

Hey there @tyk314, welcome to the Fitbit Community!
I can understand the hesitation in getting your Charge 6 into the ocean.
I personally own a Fitbit Sense that I constantly wear to swim in a lake. However, the Charge 6 is designed to be used in shallow water and should not be used for activities involving water at high velocity or high temperature.
Just keep in mind that the Charge 6 is designed to comply with a water protection rating of 5 ATM when manufactured, but it is not waterproof. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and decreases or is lost over time due to normal wear and tear, repair, disassembly, or damage.

I use my Charge 6 in both the sea and the pool and have not had any issues
