Is this device used? Is there a record of someone who used this Charge6 before?

I started using my new Charge6 yesterday.
Today a notice appeared on my screen saying I had two voicemails in October. I cannot replay these.

Both seem to be voicemails from "last October". Both numbers were unknown to me and were from California and China.
Neither of these places have anything to do with me and I was not in the US last October.

I do not have a phone number on my fitbit or on my google account. Why is this happening?
Is there a record of people who have used this Charge6 before?

Did you pair the Charge 6 to your phone?  Did you enable notifications in the Fitbit app.

The Charge 6 will show notifications from the paired phone, if you enabled them.

Yes, I paired the Charge 6 with the Fitbit App on my phone.

But I only started using it yesterday, so why does it have last October's voicemail notice?

It is sooooo weird!

My phone number is not registered to the GOOGLE account I use with Fitbit.
Does Fitbit know my phone number?

The notifications are sent to the Charge 6 from your phone, the tracker doesn't access your voice mails directly, so you should check your phone for the voice mails that the Charge 6 is showing.
