I am trying to get to the bottom of why fitbit has deleted a load of data that I have previously logged. I want to see if I can get it back, as really need it for medical purposes.
I have tried to get help via the 'chat' option but to no avail. The advisor told me that they have no access to that information and I would just need to disablement app and do an update. Then the conversation suspiciously cut off. I could not send any further messages to the advisor, dispite Fitbit telling me I was still connected to the chat.
So frustrating. I have been a fitbit customer for many years but am beginning to think twice.
Has anyone had a similar issue and managed to resolve it?

If you're not able to see your historical data, have you tried uninstalling then re-installing the Fitbit app on your mobile device? This process has worked for many users.
