Lost steps after Charge 6 update

I had just over 20,000 steps today and did the suggested update. After the update I lost over 7,000 steps, as my step total decrease down to below 13k. I restarted the app, as well as my phone. I also cleared cache from the app and restarted the fitbit. Still showing a loss of steps.

Hi, @NicoleKB unfortunately when these sorts of glitches happens it is usually not possible to recover the steps.  I am afraid that your best recourse would be to log your steps manually. You will need to log the steps as part of an activity.  Instructions are here .  (I appreciate that this is not ideal and probably not the answer you were looking for.)

Moving forward it is always best to sync all your data to your Fitbit account before any updates.
