Manual Run Lap Tracking

Hi, I know I can set laps to “automatically” track by each km/time/calories but I want to know if I can manually click lap to be able to track running interval sessions where I run then rest and my times / distances may be slightly different for running and resting - if possible I would appreciate someone letting me know how!

Hello @a_curtis and welcome to the Community.   My product search says that this feature is available on the Charge 6, just like on my Sense 2.  Swipe left/right on your screen and open the Exercise app.  Select Run.  Swipe up on the screen for your Run Settings.  Look for the Laps option.  I hope you see a Manual and an Automatic option.  Select Manual.  I have used this on my Sense 2, but not recently.  When I used this feature, I saw a lap icon as the top stat and I tapped on that icon to 'count' a lap.  I hope this works for you.

Hi! Thanks for that, although I have just looked and there seems to be no manual or automatic option, just Distance, Calories or Time.

@a_curtis   Sorry this didn't work out.  My answer was a Google generative AI answer and specifically said Charge 6 in the text.  Go figure.

This is incorrect. There is no ability to manually record, or manually start and stop laps on the Charge 6. Just as the original author mentioned - you set the Charge 6 to record laps automatically by e.g. every km or mile or minute or calories. Other Fitbit models may have this, though it’s not included on the Charge 6 for some reason (I wish it was!)
