Meditation timer

ANSWERED

Is there a meditation timer on Fitbit? Or a possibility to log meditation sessions in the app?

@MK2005 I agree with you that we should have the ability to log our own meditation in the app. There is a suggestion here that we be given that option. I hope you will consider voting and commenting there.

My work around for this has been to start one of the "Soothing Soundscape" meditation tracks in the Fitbit app. Then I mute the audio and let that run while I'm meditating and use the timer on my watch to let me know when I'm done. That way I get credit for meditation but don't have to listen to anything when I just need silence.

Fitbit Charge 6 has times (a countdown timer and a stopwatch) for general use. You can access them by scrolling toward the left and then up and down to use either of them. In the app, you have a widget called Mindful days on the front page. If you click on it and scroll down you will see a selection of mindfulness/meditation sessions. These sessions are logged automatically if you play them. You can access more mindfulness/meditation sessions under the Coach page.

Thank you for your reaction! I found the timer and the meditation sessions, but I like to do silent meditations. Unfortunately I can’t find an option for that in the mindful sessions. I can use the timer, but then they won’t log as mindful days… and I couldn’t find an option to add them myself.

Thank you, that’s a good idea!

I also voted and placed a comment. That topic already started a few years ago. I hope they will add a timer soon or the possibility to log sessions yourself.
