Multiple issues-different step count, not vibrating, activity not saved on the app or not correctly

I was a big fan of fitbit but ever since getting a Charge 6, as the weeks go by, the product gets worse. Not sure if this is related to the takeover by google but it never used to be like this beforehand. Have been using fitbit for 9 years but I don't think I will purchase their products again which is a shame as the size of the watch is perfect for my wrist.

my main issues are:

1. I will track a live run exercise via the app and once I finish the activity, I can see all the data including the map, my speed per km and as soon as I close the page, it disappears.

2. The step count on my charge 6 doesn't match that to the app-see screenshot.

3. when the activity from the charge 6 is automatically saved to the app, the details are incorrect. The number of kms are correct but the map and average pace is wrong as well as the duration which you can't edit it and it only shows that I have done 1 lap.

4. watch no longer vibrates for, message notifications, when I have hit my 10000 step goal, to move

5. the distance on the charge 6 is wrong which doesn't help you when you are doing a race and you have no idea how many kms you have done so far. Why is it taking so long for this issue to be fixed? I see it is correct only on the app.

Hopefully they will be able to rectify some of these issues asap.

Hello @Vanessav16

There have been several recent issues on the Fitbit side that affected step tracking, distance tracking, seeing exercise data in the app, and data syncing. The team is aware of the issues and have been working on the fixes.

That said, there's an update for the Android Fitbit app, ver 4.26.1, that started rolling out today, 25 Sep 2024. I got the update this morning. I've seen a few users reported that the iOS Fitbit app update started rolling out yesterday (24 Sep 2024) Although I haven't seen confirmation, I'm hoping that this update fixes many, if not all, the recent issues.

The app updates tend to rollout in waves. If you don't see the update right away, keep checking.

Hi @RiekoC,

Thank you for the feedback/update. I haven't noticed any changes yet but I'll keep checking. I really do hope that they fix these issues quickly as they did have a good product.
