I have had two incidents where it showed heart rate climbing and climbing and as this triggered anxiety, my panic set in and my heart rate increased further, so I don’t know if it was accurate to start with. Once was during exercise and once at rest. Looking back at my readings I found a spike to 210 bpm while I was doing a quiet activity a week ago. Do not recall symptoms. It is hard to know if it is malfunctioning or accurate when the spikes occur . 😞

This might be an artifact that can happen when the band is too loose.

my wife's fit bit showing 94, mine showing 69. This was like this for 20 mins. I even reset my fit bit. Mine is the one that spikes, and I can't get an accurate reading. I really don't trust this one.

Was it stuck on 94 for 20 minutes ? Or were the readings on the two watches different for 20 minutes? It is very frustrating because it is accurate for a lot of the time but then malfunctions so one feels like it is not trustworthy . I read that with cycling the hand/wrist motions could interfere (I also cycle indoors)

My last 2 didn't do this. It was fluctuating a few beats from 94 and 69.
