My charge 6 keeps saying I’m swimming when I’m not

I work at McDonald’s. I do clean and scrape the grill, A LOT. I’m wondering if this motion could be attributing to the Fitbit thinking I’m swimming? It’s only ever for like a total of 20 minutes or so though. Generally I’m noticing it only happen nights when I’m at work. My wrist could be getting wet when I’m washing my hands, cleaning something or even with grease. Anyone else having false readings? Even for other things?

Activity & Wellness settings in the app. Check the settings for Auto
Recognized Settings for swimming.

Hello @WallAsslways and welcome to the Community.  I like to write that the accelerometer in a Fitbit sees what it sees and will categorize repetitive motions into an activity.  Several other users got swimming from folding laundry.  Another user recently got a bike ride from mowing the lawn.  To clarify the path to turn it off, tap on your profile picture/gear icon in the upper right of your app > Activity & Wellness > Exercise > Swimming > toggle it off.
