My experience with the Charge 5- moving to Charge 6 and beyond

I've been using Fitbit since April 2017, and nearly as long as a Premium member. I really like the additional features a Premium membership provides. I feel more knowledgeable about my health. Another milestone is coming up. On December 25 of this year, I will have worn a Charge 5 for four years. The battery recharge happens more often now, but otherwise it continues to function well. I have purchased a replacement Charge 6 already, but who knows when my current Fitbit will give up the ghost. Just wanted to post my positive experience. I also want to say that I seriously considered upgrading to the Pixel watch version of Fitbit. The decision came down to a couple of factors. The Pixel Watch 4 was in the running, but the cost and non-availability of a Bay watch band color to match my Pixel 8 Pro phone made the decision. Fitbit also has a much smaller and convenient form factor and provides all the information of interest to me. Thanks Google.

Thanks for sharing your positive experience. Since this is a product help forum, we usually see complaints & problem reports. It's nice to see a positive review.

BTW, I started with the Charge 5 around the same time as you. I'm now using the Pixel Watch 4. I really like the Fitbit integration and the ability to customize what metrics show on the watch face. Although the battery life of the Pixel Watch 4 is not the same as the Charge 5, it charges very quickly. Usually, I only need to charge it for about 15 minutes to give me enough power to last through the day. You might want to consider getting a Pixel Watch sometime in the future.
